Dale’s heart is to draw close to God and usher others into His presence through music. Whether it is a simple acoustic set or a full-band experience, the result is the same: a powerful time of experiencing the power of the Holy Ghost which transforms lives.

Dale grew up in a typical American Christian home in Manning, Iowa, and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) with a BS in Computer Science. After graduation, he spent several years in the Denver, Colorado, and Phoenix, Arizona areas, developing his expertise in the IT world before moving back to Iowa in 1999 to work for Pella Corporation. His God-given passion for music kept him playing in bands as a bass player, singing and writing music. He often says that he would be at the bar playing until 1:00 or 2:00 am then singing in the choir the next morning, leaning on the back wall, trying not to fall asleep. This is what he now terms as “church light” – living in the world and playing church on Sunday mornings. His drive today is to help others see the power of a fully surrendered life in Christ and the joy and peace it brings as we face the bumps, bruises, and trials of daily living.

In 2003, God got a hold of Dale, and things began to shift. He began taking seminary classes at Liberty University while also exploring the world of Christian Contemporary music. He has been leading worship ever since at various churches and Christian events. He has taught several years of Systematic Theology at Third Church in Pella, Iowa, where he now assists with worship when available.
